Violet Oon's Kitchen
Along Bukit Timah Road, Singapore's Food Ambassador Violet Oon has opened a charming bistro of black and white hues, which serves Nyonya cuisine and fusion dishes reflecting Singapore's rich cosmopolitan heritage.
Get nostalgic with some generous portions of Nonya favourites such as Buah Keluak Ayam, Beef Rendang or tapioca cake with gula melaka and coconut cream. Else, be daring with some original takes on classics including Buah Keluak Pasta, Chili Crab Pizza or Vietnamese Pulled Pork Burrito.
On weekends between 10.30am and 3pm the brunch menu features some unusual and tasty fare. The French brioche is toasted and served with some delicious gula melaka banana sauce, the egg benedict is garnished with some crab cake and the Asian Big Breakfast comes with otak otak, fried chicken wing, sambal egg Indonesia, yellow rice, tangy cucumber and ikan billis salad.
Also on offer - catering services, party trays and home-made cookies, pineapple tarts and jams in cute little boxes.
