Hashi Japanese restaurant is helmed by Tadashi Takahashi, former head chef of Nobu Melbourne, internationally known for his traditional kaiseki cuisine. Hashi Japanese Restaurant resides in the 1st level in a heritage conservation shophouse in Chinatown, below the famed OSO Ristorante. Contemporary and stylishly designed, Hashi houses a luxurious main dining area, private rooms, dedicated sake bar and an exclusive sushi counter. Whether it is for a lavish event or an intimate gathering, Hashi offers a Japanese dining experience for guests.
Executive Chef Tadashi-san began at Kaiseki Komuro restaurant, under the tutelage of renowned Kaiseki masterchef, Mitsihiro Komuro. In 2004, Chef Tadashi crossed the globe to work at Michelin-starred Umu restaurant, Nobu in London and Australia.
