Traditional Russian realism meets cutting edge avant garde modern art depictions at 11.12 Gallery. Aptly named, the Russian art dedicated gallery sets its foot in Singapore in Novermber 2012. Art devotees from Asia get the opportunity to witness the distinctive Russian art pieces by artist such as Alexander Zhernokluev, Max Bashev and Aleksey Morosov, as well as, sculptors like Olga Muravina and Sergey Sobolev.
The gallery, located a short distance away from Fort Canning Park, was first established in Moscow and owned by Alexander Sharov and Elvira Sharova. The duo shares a common love for contemporary art and works together to transport Russian galleries out of the post-Soviet state.
