Discover Singapore's diverse influences on a culture and food walking tour. Be introduced to the main ethnic groups — Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Peranakan. Explore neighborhoods that you probably didn’t know about, with the help of a local guide.

  • Explore the ethnic quarters of Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam
  • Receive in-depth explanations about each food item and put your food knowledge to the test
  • Venture into authentic neighbourhoods and hear stories about the local community
  • Learn everything about local history, culture, and heritage with an English-speaking guide
  • Choose between a small group or private tour

Start the tour by meeting your expert guide either at the Chinatown MRT Station or at your hotel, depending on the option you select. Explore a Chinese enclave like no other, and be enchanted by historic temples, hip bars, and the heritage of Singapore while sampling the country's favorite local snacks in the area. Next, explore the Indian enclave in Little India, a buzzing historic area that shows off the best of Singapore's Indian community, from vibrant culture to incredible shopping. Thereafter, move on to Kampong Glam and discover this Malay enclave's rich history, living traditions, excellent eateries, and trendy shops. Lastly, visit the arts and heritage district in Singapore's civic center, and admire its rich diversity of local heritage and minority ethnic groups, such as the Peranakans. The entire tour will take about 5 hours, depending on group size, walking speed, and weather conditions.
