Directions to Esplanade
The Esplanade Theatre, located along the Marina Bay, offers the complete package. Here you can dine on fantastic cuisine, shop until you drop and watch some of the finest performing arts anywhere in the city.
The Esplanade houses one of Singapore's largest performing stages and easily adapts to performances of differing scales, hosting both local and international high profile art events. With a horse-show shape to enhance an intimate overall feel, this venue is used for a whole host of dance, musical, opera and drama performances.
The concert hall is considered the crown jewel of the Esplanade with an ability to boast exquisite acoustics and hosts orchestral and choral concerts as well as solo performances and award ceremonies.
The shopping mall that is under the same roof as the Esplanade Theatre on the Bay offers retail therapy combined with cafes, bars and restaurant experiences, making it a fantastic location to enjoy some shopping and food before heading to a performance in the theatre.
It can also be rented for corporate seminars and conferences for up to 2,000 people. In addition there is the Rectical Studio, the Theatre Studio, the Drama Centre and several other venues.
Near the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay is Esplanade Park; a lovely place to relax and have a break amidst the busy city.
From the Esplande you can stroll along the waterfront, leading over the Helix Bridge to the Marina Bay Sands on one side, or to the Fullerton Bay Hotel and the source of the Singapore River starts on the other side.
It is also a perfect location to enjoy the daily laser show displayed every evening in the Marina Bay.
