Nic Wong, the creative brainchild behind the label, has always been accredited for his meticulous attention to geometrically quirky details in his understated designs for apparels and accessories. The crisp clean lines of his designs are typical of his sensitivity towards technical construction.

Having pursued his studies and dabbling in various design industries such as graphic and interior design, Nic has developed design sensibilities with the juxtaposition between contrasting elements flaunted on a highly accessible monochromatic palette augmented with bold and vibrant hues.

Nic emerged winner of the Mercedes Benz Asia Fashion Award (Singapore) in 2004 and has been regarded as one of the first quintessential local designer to pioneer grounds in the local fashion scene as well as to venture abroad after he returned from working in london as an assistant fashion designer. His self-named label, nicholas, has standalone boutique at Marina Square in singapore and collections stocked in multi-label boutiques far and beyond the local shores, namely in New York, Chicago, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur.
