Galerie Sogan & Art

An interesting find in the glitzy Mohamed Sultan Road is Galerie Sogan & Art, house to contemporary Southeast Asian art. Since it came about in 2010, the gallery has organized and participated in numerous art exhibitions. Amongst them is the much applauded exhibition entitled 'The Little Joys of Singapore' which is a reflection of the city state through the lenses of both mature and budding Singaporean artists.

The lady behind the formation of the gallery is Vera Wijaya, an avid art analyst and writer who has lived in several cities across the globe. She envisions the gallery to be a profound platform for art exchange amongst artists and ardent art fans.
