Description

This six-hour tour is led by an affable Tourism Board licensed guide, who is an academic historian and Singapore native born shortly after independence in 1965. Through interactive storytelling and historical images, participants gain insight into the evolution of Singapore’s society and immigrant hardships.

The tour visits three main ethnic settlements established by the British colonial administration in 1822: Chinatown (Chinese), Little India (Indian), and Kampong Glam (Malay). Explore local markets featuring fruit, vegetables, seafood, herbs, spices, and ethnic clothing shops. Experience family-run eateries and hawker centres recognized by UNESCO and the Michelin Guide.
