CHIJMES is a beautifully restored former convent, now a vibrant lifestyle complex. Admire the stunning neo-Gothic architecture and peaceful courtyards. Your guide will explain its history as a school for girls and its modern transformation into an entertainment venue.
- St. Andrew’s Cathedral (10 mins)
St. Andrew’s Cathedral is the oldest Anglican cathedral in Singapore and a national monument. With its majestic white neoclassical design and towering spires, it has been an important part of the nation’s history, serving as a hospital during WWII.
- Raffles Landing Site (10 mins)
At the Raffles Landing Site, stand where Sir Stamford Raffles first set foot in Singapore in 1819. Your guide will provide insight into the founding of Singapore and the importance of this historical moment.
- Merlion Park (15 mins)

- The Fullerton Hotel (10 mins)

- Anderson Bridge (10 mins)
The Anderson Bridge spans the Singapore River, connecting the Civic District with the Marina Centre. Built in the early 20th century, it holds historical significance as part of Singapore’s early urbanization.
- Boat Quay (15 mins)
Boat Quay was once the heart of Singapore’s bustling trade activity. Today, it is a lively area with restaurants and bars, but your guide will provide insights into its historical significance as a trading hub along the Singapore River.
- Transfer & Drop-Off:
At the end of the tour, you have two convenient options. You can choose to end at scenic Boat Quay, perfect for a relaxing stroll along the river. Alternatively, we can drop you off at a central location near Chinatown, close to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and the popular Maxwell Hawker Centre, a great spot to explore local culture and enjoy a delicious lunch on your own.
