Description

Step into the newly reimagined teamLab Future World at the ArtScience Museum, created by the internationally renowned art collective, teamLab. Since its debut in 2016, this permanent exhibition has captivated millions of visitors, and it now returns with its most ambitious transformation to date. The refreshed experience unveils the world’s first Light Sculpture with Paper Airplane, where visitors can launch a paper plane and watch it transform into a dazzling spectacle of light and sound. The iconic Crystal Universe also makes a return, immersing guests in a mesmerizing galaxy of endless crystals that respond to movement and touch. Other revitalized installations include Continuous Life and Death, a radiant garden that blooms and fades in real time; Flow Reaches Far, where collective movements create vast swirling patterns; Waterfall Droplets, offering playful illusions of bouncing water; and Sketch Umwelt World, which brings visitors’ drawings to life on a giant screen. Each installation evolves with interaction, ensuring that every visit is a one-of-a-kind immersive journey. From 31 May to 14 September, the ArtScience Museum and Marina Bay Sands will also present Sustainable Futures, a special season focused on environmental awareness and action, in support of Go Green SG, a national movement led by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. Highlights include the Southeast Asian premiere of Artland by South Korean artist Do Ho Suh, a collaborative exhibition where children and families can co-create a fantastical ecosystem using clay. The Sustainable Futures Film Festival will further showcase inspiring stories of communities and landscapes at the forefront of environmental change. Beyond the museum, guests can take part in creative workshops at teamLab’s Digital Light Canvas, enjoy exclusive plant-based dining, and explore eco-conscious retail activations. Together, these experiences unite art, imagination, and sustainability, offering a meaningful celebration for visitors of all ages.
